Event coverage spans all UW Athletics accounts, with content delivered across 22 sport programs. Leading a team of five digital strategy assistants, I oversee coverage from central department channels while coordinating closely with individual sport accounts. Content capture is central to this work, from documenting atmosphere and fan energy to telling the story of each game in real time. Coverage extends across social, the GoHuskies app, and web, ensuring a consistent voice for Husky Athletics while spotlighting the unique stories of every program.
In 2025, during Washington’s first full year in the Big Ten Conference, @UWAthletics ranked second in the conference and top 10 nationally in engagement rate (4.01%) while producing 4,000+ organic posts. Since stepping into the role, I’ve helped reset UW Athletics’ digital strategy, driving a 769% increase in impressions within my first 90 days and generating 400M+ views/impressions and $9.27M in social value across athletics department channels.

General Event Coverage
Vertical video is a cornerstone of event coverage, with Reels, TikTok, and Shorts capturing behind-the-scenes moments, highlights, and atmosphere in platform-native formats. This approach expands Husky Athletics’ reach and connects directly with younger audiences who consume sports primarily through short-form video.
YouTube Strategy
Led a comprehensive YouTube overhaul, optimizing SEO-driven descriptions, end card strategy, playlists, and consistent thumbnails while expanding individual and full-team highlights and press conferences across Shorts and long-form storytelling uploads.
