ABOUT
Results-driven leader and digital content strategist with proven success in maximizing audience growth and engagement in professional and collegiate-level athletics.
Currently the Associate Director of Digital Strategy for University of Washington Athletics, I oversee a team of four digital strategy assistants and lead day-to-day social coverage and strategy across central accounts (@UWAthletics, @GreatestSetting, @Dubs_UW) and 16 sport-specific accounts. My role also includes notification strategy and content management for the Go Huskies App, as well as supporting GoHuskies.com through CMS oversight, feature page development, and site maintenance. Since stepping into this role, I have spearheaded a reset of UW’s digital strategy focused on revenue-driving storytelling, NIL activations, and brand growth. This work has been highlighted by a 769 percent increase in impressions across all platforms in my first 90 days.
Previously a member of one of the top-performing social teams in the National Hockey League, the Seattle Kraken, who frequently topped the league leaderboard in engagements and growth rate. While overseeing the operation and strategic implementation behind emerging platforms, their TikTok and YouTube channels became the seventh largest in the NHL after a 305 percent increase in following. This was in addition to the daily management of @SeattleKraken social channels (Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) through copywriting, photo and video capture, ideation, game and practice coverage, and follower engagement. As a content-heavy creator, I continuously innovated and contributed to the #SeaKraken content creation and curation process through polished photo, video, and lo-fi asset capture, as well as post-production, while actively directing and producing. I also supported digital operations, including storytelling and game day coverage on the website and Kraken app.
I spent the historic 2022 Major League Baseball season with the Seattle Mariners as a Social Media Associate, contributing to a top five MLB social team by engagement. I assisted on major projects such as the 2022 All-Star push, Julio Rodríguez's debut, and the Mariners’ first playoff berth in 21 years, while helping grow the team’s TikTok following by 100,000 in a single season.
Prior to these roles, I spent three years operating California Baptist University’s social accounts and two years leading photography efforts for their Division I athletics programs. In summer 2021, I was the first Digital Marketing Intern for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Baseball Club, where I managed all photography and social channels and drove 576 percent growth during my four-month tenure.
Born and raised in Anaheim, California, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Marketing.
