During summer 2021, I was the first Digital Marketing Intern for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters Baseball Club, where I managed their social media accounts on Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok, as well as photographed the entirety of the season. Their overall social presence saw a follower increase of 576% (14.9k -> 85.9k) over my 4 months with the team, largely in part to the team's success on TikTok.
When my time began with the Rafters their TikTok was at roughly 600 followers; under my operation, it grew to 70k followers and put Wisconsin Rapids on the map. Our content quickly accumulated 20M views, 2.2M likes, and led to features and interactions with various professional sports teams/leagues, major news sources, and a clear jump in ticket sales.
